A bright citrus opening of lemon and bergamot with lavender and ozonic notes running through it, which makes it feel clean and airy. In the heart, amber, jasmine and rose make it softer and fuller. As an Extrait de Parfum this fresh fragrance lasts unusually long — normally the weak point of citrus perfumes.

How it develops

Lemon and bergamot open bright and sparkling, with lavender for an aromatic, clean edge and ozonic notes bringing air and a sea-breeze freshness into it. The heart turns softer and warmer: amber lays a glow under the citrus, jasmine and rose make it floral and full without becoming heavy. The base is smooth and long-lasting: vanilla for a light sweetness, musk for the skin tone and black wood for a dry, dark finish. As an Extrait the fresh opening lasts longer than you're used to from citrus, and the base stays until the next day.

Who it's for, and when

Four seasons, from the office to the evening; at its best in spring and summer. Looking for fresh and clean with grapefruit and ginger in an Eau de Parfum, see L-190. Want fresh without citrus, mineral and salty, V-40 is the neighbour.

How to wear it

Two sprays is enough — with an Extrait you need less than you're used to. On the neck, on moisturised skin, don't rub. Three sprays is for a long day; more is too much.
