Opens with rosewood, lavender, apple and cinnamon — fruity and spicy at once. In the heart come rose, cedar and lily of the valley. The base is where it turns heavy: oud, sandalwood, amber, vanilla and musk. One of the most luxurious-smelling ouds in the collection.

How it develops

Rosewood and lavender open woody and aromatic, with apple and cinnamon adding a juicy, spicy warmth — the first minutes are friendlier than you expect from an oud. The heart is floral and dry: rose, full and velvety, with cedar and lily of the valley keeping it bright and a little green. Then comes the base, and it is big: agarwood (oud), dark and smoky, alongside sandalwood and amber for the warmth, vanilla for the sweetness and musk pulling it all close to the skin. From apple and wood to rose to oud.

Who it's for, and when

Winter evenings. Too intense for the office or warm weather. Love oud and rose but want it sweeter and softer, see M-90. Looking for oud with saffron and even more grandeur, I-50 is the neighbour.

How to wear it

One to two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. More than two is for outdoors — indoors it quickly becomes too much for the people around you.
