Leather, jasmine and patchouli. Inspired by Ombre Leather.
Opens spicy with cardamom. The heart is the core of the fragrance: dry leather with Arabian jasmine setting a floral softness against it. The base turns earthier with amber, moss and patchouli.
How it develops
Cardamom opens, and nothing else: spicy, warm and a little citrusy, a run-up of ten minutes at most. Then comes the leather, and that is the whole fragrance: dry, smooth and slightly smoky, more a suede jacket than a saddle, with Arabian jasmine (sambac) beside it setting a sultry white flower against it — that combination of leather and flower is exactly what makes it recognisable. The base turns it earthy: amber for the warmth, moss for the bitter, green depth and patchouli for the dark floor. Spice, leather, earth.

Who it's for, and when
Four seasons, from the office to the evening; at its best in autumn and winter. Leather without sweetness, and grown-up for it. Love leather but want it rougher, with oud and cinnamon, see M-180. Looking for leather with tobacco and vanilla, B-250 is the neighbour.
How to wear it
Two to three sprays on neck and wrists, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. Leather loves fabric — one spray on a coat lasts for days.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
