Opens clean and bright with Calabrian bergamot and musk. The heart is floral-green with bourbon geranium and rose geranium, giving the fragrance a herbal side. The base is warm and balsamic: benzoin, Peru balsam and guaiac wood.

How it develops

Calabrian bergamot and musk open together: bright and lightly bitter beside clean and skin-like — an opening that smells well-groomed straight away without becoming sharp. The heart is geranium in two forms: bourbon geranium, green and a touch metallic, and rose geranium, rosier and softer, together floral in a way that stays self-evident on a man. The base is warm and balsamic: benzoin and Peru balsam, sweet and resinous, with guaiac wood adding a light, smoky dryness. From citrus to green to warm resin.

Who it's for, and when

Four seasons, from the office to the evening; at its best in spring, summer and autumn. Love geranium and resin but want it fresher and with more citrus, see H-90. Looking for the same well-groomed warmth with orange blossom instead of geranium, Y-60 is the neighbour.

How to wear it

Two to three sprays on neck and wrists, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. One spray on a shirt collar keeps the resin until evening.
