A juicy apple opening with lavender running through it, that settles into a creamy vanilla with spices. Sweet and refined at once — one of the best-loved niche fragrances for men.
How it develops
Apple opens juicy and fresh, with lavender immediately giving it something aromatic and well-groomed and bergamot and mandarin for the sparkle. The heart is floral but masculine: geranium, green and a touch metallic, with violet and jasmine keeping it soft and lightly powdery. The base is big and warm — vanilla up front, creamy and sweet, with cardamom and pepper for the spice, sandalwood and guaiac wood for the creamy smoke, patchouli for the earth and coumarin and ambermax rounding it off hay-sweet and spacious. From apple to vanilla, by way of a spice cupboard.

Who it's for, and when
Four seasons, day and evening; at its best in autumn and winter. Love apple and cinnamon in a lighter, more everyday form, see B-40. Looking for lavender and vanilla but louder and sweeter, J-120 is the neighbour.
How to wear it
Two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. It carries far — in a small room one spray is enough.

Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
