Green apple and cinnamon in the opening — that combination is exactly what makes it so recognisable. Then it settles into a soft sandalwood that sits neatly on the skin all day.
How it develops
Apple and plum open juicy and fresh, with bergamot and lemon for the sparkle and oakmoss and geranium laying a green, slightly bitter floor underneath from the start. The heart is where the warmth begins: cinnamon, spicy and sweet, with mahogany and carnation keeping it dry and lightly peppery. The base is smooth and well-groomed: vanilla and sandalwood, creamy and soft, with cedar, vetiver and olive tree for a dry, woody finish. From apple to cinnamon to sandalwood, in a straight line.

Who it's for, and when
Four seasons, day and evening. One of the easiest men's fragrances we have to wear. Looking for a classic that is just as safe but sweeter, with vanilla, see J-20. Want the same well-groomed warmth with more leather and citrus, V-80 is the neighbour.
How to wear it
Two to three sprays on neck and wrists, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. One spray on a shirt keeps the cinnamon until evening.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
