How it develops
Mandarin and clary sage open together: juicy and fresh alongside herbal and faintly hay-like — a combination that makes clear straight away this won't be an ordinary sweet fragrance. The heart is where the sweetness sits: caramel, burnt and warm, with tonka bean making it creamy and almond-like. The base is a single note and exactly the right one: vetiver, dry, earthy and green, pulling the caramel from candy towards skin and keeping the fragrance masculine to the end. Sweet on top, dry underneath.

Who it's for, and when
Evenings and cold months. Looking for something neutral for the office, choose something fresher. The women's version, with honey and gardenia, is J-60 for her. Love sweet and warm but want it more comforting, see A-210.
How to wear it
Two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. One spray on your clothing keeps the caramel until the next morning.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
