How it develops
The opening is juicy and cool at once: pear, ripe and sweet, alongside mint, lavender, bergamot and lemon keeping it fresh and aromatic. The heart turns warm and spicy — cinnamon up front, with clary sage and caraway adding a hay-like, slightly odd edge. The base is where it earns its reputation: black vanilla bean, thick and dark, with amber, patchouli and cedar keeping it warm and woody deep into the night. From pear to cinnamon to black vanilla.

Who it's for, and when
Nights out, evenings and the cold months. At the office or in warm weather it becomes too much. If you find it too loud, J-20 is the classic, quieter version from the same house. Looking for the same thick sweetness with toffee instead of pear, see A-330.
How to wear it
One to two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. More than two is for outdoors — indoors it quickly becomes too much for the people around you.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
