A dry leather opening with tobacco underneath, that slowly turns sweeter through vanilla. Smells like a jacket that has been worn for years — warm, lived-in and self-assured.

How it develops

Spices, rum and tobacco open together: warm, a little boozy, serious straight away. The heart is where it gains its depth — leather up front, with iris making it powdery and tuberose setting a dark, almost sultry flower beside it. The base is sweet and resinous: tonka bean, guaiac wood and benzoin, slowly rounding off the sharp edges of the leather. It begins dry and ends warm and soft.

Who it's for, and when

Autumn, winter and evenings. Leave it alone in summer. Want the same warmth with more tobacco and vanilla, see T-70. Looking for leather but lighter and fresher, V-80 is a softer neighbour.

How to wear it

Two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin, don't rub. One spray on a jacket collar keeps it present for days — exactly what this fragrance was made for.
