A soft, creamy vanilla that stays close to the skin rather than pressing its sweetness on you. As an Extrait de Parfum the oil concentration is higher than in an Eau de Parfum, so it feels thicker and lies on the skin for hours.

How it develops

Two kinds of vanilla give the fragrance body straight away: one sweet and creamy, the other darker and a touch boozy, together fuller than a single vanilla ever becomes. Orris root makes it powdery and cool — the part that stops it from becoming a dessert — and jasmine keeps it lightly floral. In the base, sandalwood and animalic notes provide warmth and skin: creamy, a little sultry, never clean-sweet. As an Extrait it develops more slowly; every phase lasts longer and the base stays until the next morning.

Who it's for, and when

How to wear it

Two sprays is enough — with an Extrait you need less than you're used to. On the neck, on moisturised skin, don't rub. Three sprays is for a long evening; more is too much.
