Opens spicy with saffron and bergamot. The heart is oriental and full: oud with Bulgarian rose. Then the sweet core rises — tonka bean and sugar cane. As an Extrait de Parfum the oil concentration is higher, so it opens fuller and lasts considerably longer.

How it develops

Saffron and bergamot open warm and slightly bitter, with a citrus edge that disappears quickly. The heart is the oriental part — agarwood (oud) and Bulgarian rose, dark and velvety, the reason people ask for this fragrance. The base is where the name comes from: tonka bean and sugar cane give a thick, almost caramel-like sweetness, while amber, white musk and oakmoss keep it warm without saturating. As an Extrait it develops more slowly: every phase lasts longer and the sweet base stays until the next morning.

Who it's for, and when

Unisex, wearable for him and her. Winter evenings; too intense for the office or warm weather. Looking for oriental with rose and oud but without the tonka sweetness, see M-90. Want the radiant, mineral sweetness from the same house, M-60 is the neighbour.

How to wear it

One or two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin, don't rub. This Extrait fills a room; you rarely need more.
