Description
Narcissus, mimosa and vanilla. Inspired by Poême.
A broad, classically floral perfume: fruity-green in the opening, a full bouquet in the heart and a warm vanilla base. Big and feminine, the way they are rarely made any more.
How it develops
The opening is green and fruity at once: narcissus and datura give a green, slightly heady floralcy, with peach, plum, mandarin and blackcurrant for the juice and bergamot and Himalayan poppy for the freshness. The heart is the bouquet — mimosa up front, with tuberose, ylang-ylang, orange blossom, jasmine, freesia and rose, heliotrope and vanilla flower for the powder, and a leathery edge that stops it from turning sweet-natured. The base is warm and sweet: vanilla and tonka bean, amber and orange blossom, with musk and cedar rounding it off. A poem with many stanzas.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
