A fruity-floral opening that quickly turns into an oriental heart of oud and church incense, with ambergris and labdanum keeping it warm and resinous. Rich, but closer to the skin than you'd expect from an oud.

How it develops

Fruity and floral notes open soft and lightly sweet — a friendly run-up that makes the fragrance more approachable than the rest suggests. Then comes the heart, and it is oriental: agarwood (oud), dark and dry, alongside olibanum, the church incense, smoky and resinous, with warm oriental notes holding it together. The base is where the warmth sits: ambergris, salty and skin-like, wood notes for structure and labdanum for a sweet, resinous glow. From fruit to incense to warm resin.

Who it's for, and when

How to wear it

Because it stays close to the skin you can use three sprays: neck, wrists and chest, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. One spray on a scarf keeps the incense for days.
