Iris gives it a powdery, almost cosmetic elegance you find in few men's fragrances. Grows warmer through the day thanks to amber and vetiver, but always stays civilised.
How it develops
The opening is one note and it determines everything: iris — cool, powdery, a little like lipstick or an old photograph. The heart adds warmth without removing the powder: amber and cocoa, soft and lightly bitter, taking it from cool to skin-like. The base of vetiver and leather gives the structure — dry, earthy, masculine — and makes sure the iris lingers to the end. Few notes, plenty of effect.

Who it's for, and when
Office, dinners and formal occasions. Wearable in all four seasons, but at its best in the cold. Looking for the same refinement with more citrus and less powder, see V-80. Want something more headstrong and leathery, F-10 is the next step.
How to wear it
Two to three sprays on neck and wrists, on moisturised skin. Don't rub — iris is a delicate note. One spray on a shirt collar holds the powder all working day.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
