Smells like a glass of cognac by an open fire: alcoholic warmth, cinnamon and a tonka bean sweetness holding it all together. One of the best-loved winter fragrances of recent years.
How it develops
Cognac opens — boozy, warm, slightly sharp from the alcohol — and that is the whole first quarter of an hour. Then comes the heart, and it is the barrel the cognac sat in: cinnamon and tonka bean for the spicy sweetness, oak for the woody dryness and hedione, a light jasmine note, bringing air into it. The base is dessert: vanilla, praline and candied almond, sweet and nutty, with sandalwood rounding it off creamy and warm. From glass to barrel to pudding.

Who it's for, and when
Unisex, wearable for him and her. Purely for autumn and winter, day and evening. It doesn't work in summer. Love boozy and warm but want tobacco added, see R-90. Looking for the same cinnamon warmth with tobacco instead of cognac, V-110 is the neighbour.
How to wear it
Two sprays on the neck, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. One spray on a scarf or winter coat is enough for days.

Warmte en huidolie laten de geur sneller opbloeien, maar ook sneller vervliegen. Op droge huid gaat dat nog sneller.
Op kleding · een dag of langer
Stof heeft geen warmte, dus de geur breekt veel trager af. Voorzichtig met zijde: parfum kan vlekken.
Bewaren
Koel en donker. Warmte en licht breken parfumolie af.
Niet in de badkamer. Schommelende temperatuur is de meest gemaakte fout.
Dop erop, rechtop. Zuurstof laat een geur oxideren.
Twee tot drie jaar na openen voordat de geur merkbaar verandert.
Langer laten hangen
Hydrateer eerst. Geur hecht aan vet, niet aan droge huid. Dit scheelt het meest.
Pulspunten. Polsen, hals, achter de oren.
Niet wrijven. Dat breekt de kopnoten af.
Eén spray op je kraag. Blijft veel langer hangen.
Direct na het douchen. Warme huid neemt geur beter op.
