How it develops

Sugar, redcurrant and mandarin open sweet and lightly fruity, a short juicy run-up. The heart is where the warmth comes from: vanilla and cocoa, creamy and a touch bitter, with spicy notes giving a soft prickle and rose keeping it floral and powdery. The base is skin: tonka bean for the almond sweetness, amber for the glow, musk for the clean, powdery tone and wood notes rounding it off dry and grown-up. From berries to cocoa to warm skin.

Who it's for, and when

Wearable all year round, day and evening; at its warmest in autumn and winter. If you're looking for something that stands out from a distance, look further. Love powdery vanilla but want it softer and lighter still, see M-30. Looking for warm skin with milk and honey instead of cocoa, D-90 is the neighbour.

How to wear it

Because it stays close to the skin you can use three to four sprays: neck, wrists and décolleté, on moisturised skin. Don't rub. One spray on your clothing keeps the vanilla until evening.
